What is said in the show
Following a technical bug that destroyed a 2h30 recording, Jab Life offers a two-part replacement format. The first part is an interview with Mahamade Demba Semba, an amateur fighter from the Boxing Squad who appeared in the early episodes of L'Arène on Netflix. He looks back on the bag challenge where he pushed his bag with his hand, on Ciryl Gane's dressing-down, on the apology he subsequently offered, and on his two fights in the show: against Alpha, a training partner, then against Thomas Dché, a wrestler he did not know, who dominated him before being disqualified for grabbing the cage. Mahamade also discusses the atmosphere among participants and his upcoming fight scheduled with Hexagone. The second part is a technical breakdown in the cage led by Aldric Cassata, with Mahamade as a partner: D'Arce choke defense in several variations, then, with Mago, defense of the standing guillotine as executed by Luis Hernandez in the UFC.

« I go see Cyril and on top of that everyone loves Cyril. So I found it sad to have a falling-out with him. So I went to see him directly and I told him directly: I'm sorry for what I said and for the way I reacted. »

« I'm glad I did MMA almost just for having lived that, because in my life I would never have thought I'd experience a moment like that. You start MMA, you don't really know what you're getting into, and you end up on Netflix. »

« Mago is going to take the guillotine without the arm. I stepped in, my head is here, he managed to free his hand and then he's going to choke me. I went with the toughest guy because you need to see that this technique works. »
